We are looking to possibly purchase an HP CP4005 Series Color LaserJet Printer where I work. We currently have 3 Xerox color printers and a Dell color printer. Does anyone have any experience with this model of HP printer, especially in comparison to Xeros 6200/6300 series and Dell 5110cn. Thanks!

As i have used the xerox dell and Hp Printers, i think u can go for HP…

–HP have 1 year(Free) Replacement warranty for all hardware including the rollers and fusors…..U can opt for extended warrant of 2 yrs more 4 35$$ more

–Now I know u must have a printer on each floor……I would suggest the best way…I think u have a Computer network in the building.Do u have a Wireless Router??? If u donot have get a linksys router. Then install HP wireless printer on each floor.Using the router u can connect all the printers and the computers wirelessly .no wires attached.

–The printers i have suggested r all colour.and using Hp software u can set permission for each computer to print.

–The model am Reffereing to is a PhotoSmart C6180…print scan copy and Fax….This have a new ink technology which uses 6 different ink cartridges fort better quality…..these ink cartridges are cheap too…….or if
I should note that I work at UNC-Chapel Hill so we have quite a robust enterprise level network.
Please direct your primary responses to the CP 4005 and not other HP printers, though some general information is ok too.

I am looking to buy a color scanner and printer to print and scan photos. What is a good brand, and what info am I looking for? I see some show what the resolution is? what should that be?

Are their companies I should stay away from?

Hi, I have an Epson Color 980 computer printer and I’m duplicating and printing old years 1890 to 1930 pictures so my entire family will have copies. I’m doing this on hp premium plus inkjet glossy photo paper 8 1/2 X 11, 11.5 mil paper. I’m using Inksel cartridges I get for myself at work. Should I worry that the ink or paper will fade in the future? Any suggestions on purchasing the good stuff? Also, my friend wants to buy the best and cheapest but quality printer for large color prints (for people, birds, sunsets etc) for her Dell Computer she got last year. Should she get any specific Epson, Canon or what printer? I went online to look for reviews but it’s very confusing. Thank you for any suggestions. Cool Breeze!

I am trying to print out business cards on Avery 8371 business card paper. The printer I am using is a color printer HP Color LazerJet 2605dn. The business cards are two sided. The first side prints out just fine, but when I print the other side, it smears side 2. A co-worker said that maybe I need to adjust the impression of the color while printing the cards but they never came to show me how to do it. Can anyone help me?

I am looking for a printer that does very good quality photo printing. I am not interested in the portable ones because you are limited in size you can print like postcard or 4×6. I want a full printer sized one that is also a multifunction printer. I saw some Epson’s and HP’s and Canon’s. Obviously you can use any color printer to print photos, but I want a printer that is also made to print photos. Someone said something about an Epson one time. I think the model number was something like 4500 or 9500.
Can you also mention the model?
