I looked high and low. I still can’t find anything. I need a fax machine that is portable. If there isn’t one, I need a printer/scanner combo but it has to be portable. Canon makes one but the scanner cartridge is not available. Help!

I own a Canon Starwriter 25 word processor. It’s old but defintely not obsolete. In fact I find it very useful and I don’t know what would replace it. I could print a letter off the computer but the Starwriter is easier to use, portable and includes its own printer. The only trouble is Canon–like many other companies–disowns its products after about ten years and stops providing supplies. We Starwriter 25ers are forced to scour the globe–literally–and pay exorbitant prices because of the planned obsolescence of corporate America. Therefore I will NOT buy a current Canon product.
I mean it is all very well for the techno-Geeks with nothing to do with their minds but learn how to conform with electronic machines, but those of us with lives to live deserve more consideration and power.

I am looking for a good photo printer any recommendations I have been looking at the selphy by canon. Also just to prove my ineptness at the computer can i use a photo printer to also hook up to the computer and use as a regular printer for coloring pages and flyers and such ( yes i probably should know this). Also I would like the printer to have one of those little screens to see the pics and be portable. Thank you

I’d like to print pictures of grandkids (up to 8×10 would be nice but not required). I don’t care brand, I use a Canon digital camera. I would like good quality and cheapest cost. It would be used at home, not portable. The family would probably use it too. There is so much to choose from – HP, Canon, Epson, etc. and I don’t have any idea which to go with. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

i’m planning to buy a portable (the ones which can be easily carried from place to place) colored printer for my laptop. my budget is 100-200 US dollars

can you please give me an advice on what brand (whether HP, Epson, Canon, Brothers, or others pls specify) and please also specify the model i should buy that is best in quality and performance?

i don’t know which is the best one since i have no experiences in the portable colored printers for laptops. i don’t want to rely on the websites of the manufacturers since they will only tell of the good qualities and not the bad qualities of the product.
