What is the smallest (can i say portable) printer I can use in my vehicle, using my XP compatible laptop? I want to be able to print out invoices on-site for when a job is completed, and be able to permanently mount it inside my vehicle. Thanks.

Okay- I need a laptop. I have no clue what memory is good or what the purpose of a dual core processor is or even what RAM is. I just know this: It’s gotta have Wi-Fi capabilities/ability to hook up to a wireless internet connection, Windows XP or Vista, Microsoft Office 2007, a CD burner, a DVD burner, fast enough to play Sims games on, and ability to read SD media cards (from my digital camera).

Price range: Up to 0.

Also- need a small portable printer that hooks to the laptop.

Any suggestions?

Any retailer- Wal-mart, Office Max, Circuit City, Best Buy, it matters not…

I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy battery-powered portable printers. I have a laptop and sometimes I need to print something on the spot. Paper size doesn’t matter (it could be small or letter). thanx.

I have a Cannon PowerShot A550, which will upload pictures directly to a printer. I just got a portable hard drive, which requires power from both a powerpoint and the usb before it "wakes up".

Both the camera and the hard drive connect to the pc via a two sized usb, with a small (B male?) connector at the device, and a large (A male?) connector connector at the pc. If I got an A male to A male adaptor to connect the camera directly to the hard drive, could I then use my camera’s upload function to move photos to the hard drive, and would the connection to the camera fulfill the drive’s secondary power requirement?

I am going on holiday to Tasmania for a week, and to the States for three months next year, but I dont’ have a laptop, so I need a way to store all those pics, so I can take more! Thanks for helping!

I am going away to college in the fall and need a good portable printer. I have a dell e-1405 which is new and want a decent printer preferably one that has a scanner. I don’t want to spend to much money. Do i need blue tooth so i don’t have to be connected whenever i print?
